I don't often use an already finished pendant, but this time I was captivated by the purple veins in the carved maple leaf that is featured in this necklace. Of course, I couldn't leave well enough alone - so the face of the stone leaf has a small cascade of Swarovski crystals clustered with a pearl that drape down the front of the leaf. The leaf is suspended from a necklace of luscious purple pearls with an occasional sparkle of a Swarovsk crystal peaking through. The necklace is finished with a hand made hook and eye clasp and measures 18 1/2 inches long. The carved maple leaf is 2 1/4 inches long and just over 2 inches wide. I could not consider this set finished without earrings to go with it - so the earrings also feature pearls and Swarovski crystals in a double row. This is an elegant set for anyone who likes to wear purple. |
